Lionheart Holiday Clubs with OM UK's Kids 'n' Things Team

Week 1
During your first week, you will be learning the holiday club programme, ‘Lionheart and the Ultimate Gaming Adventure’. You will learn a selection of basic skills needed to deliver the programme such as puppeteering and storytelling. The week will be busy, but by the end you will be ready to help deliver the programme.

Week 2 and 3
Once the school holidays begin, we plan to spend two weeks running holiday clubs Monday to Friday with two different churches in different areas of the UK. You will also participate in family services on Sundays with some of these churches. During the holiday club itself, you will be involved in various parts of the up-front programme. You will take part in puppet songs and stories as a puppeteer and will help to demonstrate the action songs we use. There may also be opportunities to teach bible verses or bible stories if you have skills in this area. As well as the performance element, there will be plenty of time for you to help alongside church members in small

Disaster Response Training

The Disaster Response Training aims to give you an overview of the Disaster Preparedness and Response sectors, to build some transferable skill-sets, and to equip you to be a boost to any relief situation that you are involved with in the future. Berlin May Outreach

During the outreaches believers will have an opportunity to publicly share their testimonies, which will also be live-streamed for people to view at home. We will hand our Bibles and Gospel literature to passersby in various languages, which we hope will open the door to many divine conversations. We will also have times of prayer, fellowship and training as part of the outreach.

LOGOS HOPE STEP Opportunity - STEP II 2023

Living and working alongside people from different nations gives you firsthand experience of what it takes to be a cross-cultural Christian worker. It is both challenging and enriching. The days will be filled with practical work in one of the ship’s departments (40hrs per week/ 8hrs per day). Outreach Teams are one day per week; you will participate in an assigned ministry experience. It might be an onboard programme or an onshore event (COVID-19 restrictions apply).

Ladies Canal Boat Art Outreach UK 2023

After arrival on the boat, the Saturday evening and Sunday morning will be spent in orientation and preparation. This will include prayer, getting to know the team and some art evangelism training.

The canals of the UK are busy waterways with many full-time boaters and holiday makers. Many people walk along the canal footpaths for recreation. Taking up opportunities to engage with both groups as you paint, draw and exhibit the art you produce will be the main focus. There will be spiritual input for participants and the opportunity to discover their role through their art in the great commission. Participants should bring their own tools of the trade (eg brushes and paints) but there will be media of all kinds available for them to use alongside their own. Easels and cleaning materials will be provided.

It will be useful if participants can bring some of their artwork with them for a small exhibition.

There will be a debrief at the end.

Kids 'n' Things Academy Summer

You will spend one day a week participating in the Kids ‘n’ Things Academy, two days a week working with the team to learn and rehearse the holiday club programme, and two days a week with other children’s ministries.

Love Slettheia Summer Camp 2023

This ministry wants to develop relationships among the community in Slettheia. Many of the children comes from different cultural background.

The duration of the camp is one week during the summer holidays, having one day getting to know the team, five days of workshops and common activities, ending with a presentation for the family about what they have learned and accomplished in the workshops. On the sixth day (Saturday) there is a recreational outing for the whole family and in this way our summer camp for participating families ends.
The seventh day of the week, Sunday Service, feedback and evaluation of the camp by the logistics team, workshops and other collaborators.

UK: Presentation Team - Spring - Share Your Mission Experience

Come ready for anything! Come Share your mission experience. It starts with an induction into life in the UK and training sessions on public speaking and how to present creatively, using multimedia presentations where appropriate. You’ll share in church services, conferences, and University meetings, and run book tables.
You will be expected to take an active part in OM UK team life at The Quinta.
Team participation could include book-keeping, driving, team leading and administration.
Working hours will be flexible. We will aim to give you 2 days off per week, but sometimes it maybe 1.5 or 1.
The three months will wrap up with team debrief and reflection back at The Quinta.

Tshega Mission

In everything we do at Tshega our aim is to reach the local community as a result we are involved with many different community projects. We run a fully function school during the South African school terms as well as feeding schemes, working a long side a local church, sports ministry etc.
